District Offices on Summer Schedule

District 200 offices are currently operating on a four day work week through August 5th. Buildings are open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and closed on Fridays.  Employees work ten hours each day to accommodate the change.

Mary Endres Teacher is "Teacher of the Month"

Congratulations to Mary Endres Elementary School 4th Grade Dual Language teacher Katie Jacobson, who is the Star 105.5 Teacher of the Month for April. Radio station Star 105.5, in cooperation with Home State Bank, sponsors a Teacher of the Month program to honor outstanding teachers in McHenry County.  Ms. Jacobson was nominated by Mary Endres student Mackinzee, who cited her teacher's ability to “make learning really fun.”

Classes from Dean Street & Mary Endres Selected to Participate in 25th Annual Technology Demonstration at State Capitol

Two Woodstock District 200 classes have been selected as participants in the TECH 2016 Students for the Information Age event which will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at the Illinois State Capitol Building in Springfield.  More than 90 schools will be represented from throughout the state of Illinois.  Students will demonstrate for the public and elected members of the Illinois State Senate and House of Representatives how technology is being used in the classroom to increase student engagement and improve achievement.

Young Author's Awards 2016

We had 109 books submitted from students in first through fifth grade.  We are so fortunate to have so many students interested in writing!  From the many submissions, the Young Author's committee chose a grade level winner and those that received an honorable mention.  Congratulations to Madison in Ms. Briscoe's class, Isaac in Mr. Espana/Mrs. Parpart's classes, Alex in Ms. Hunn's class, Malaika and Emerich, co-author's in Ms. Jacobson/Ms. Farley's classes, and Riley in Mrs. Maire/Mrs. Aranda's classes for being the grade level winners.
